Perfect in every way.

dear little sammy: do not tape over those episodes of digimon, you will regret it when you are 20
Prince Charming does not exist, but its okay; you are strong like your God Mother, and Grandmother, and do not need a man beside you to make you who you are.
Stop looking now and focus on art/stories/cartoons/video games. You’ll be way happier in the long run.

I have something to say about this, and it goes a little something like this.
Take off your nostalgic shades. For those who don’t know of the releases of other titles of the franchise, it includes a racing game, and then another platformer, (both for the gameboy advance handheld, if I’m correct) and guess what? From the look of them, I can tell you it doesn’t “feel” like a Banjo Kazooie game.
What exactly is “feel” like a franchise feel to you guys? The claim that a company isn’t doing what they’re “suppose” to make really cheeses me off and I’ll tell you why? A company, and their artists, and other studio workers, they all change. They want to give you a new game, with new challenges. They want these games to be successful, but if you tell an artist to do the same thing over and over, they get bored.
Look, I’ll agree, I don’t like the aspect of building cars, but you’re talking to someone who hasn’t touched the game yet. She’s watched it been played just once, and she’s looked at countless screen shots, and countless playthroughs. She’s talked to people who have played the game, who all say its a pretty decent game.
Why doesn’t this feel like a Banjo Kazooie game?
Does Super Paper Mario feel like a normal Mario game? What about Mario Galaxy? No. They don’t.
As a person who is strictly in love with platformer games, I really just don’t get it. Things change, and characters evolve, ESPECIALLY when they hadn’t been touched for eight years in the first place. “Well, I want Banjo Threeie!” Well, I’m sorry. The company got bought by Microsoft, and things changed rather drastically.
IDK. I’m just tired of hearing people gripe about it; the same thing happened when Sonic went to 3D; Maybe I’m too loyal to franchises, but when I see that the characters, the music, and the feel of the game, to me, are the same, the game play doesn’t bother me as much anymore. But thats the kind of gamer I am, I’m playing for the art, and for the music, and characters. Shrug.
This is street art:
This is not:
Each is a showcase in their own areas of art
knitting and crocheting looks easy as hell until you actually pick up a needle, let alone making up large…
I thought you should know
That art is whatever an artist wants to express through any means of medium, whether you agree with it or not. And if thats how that artist does street art, then its art.
Taking the time and effort to create anything no matter what it is, is always going to be art. I don’t have to like it, You don’t have to lie it, but its still art.
oh my fucking god can everyone just report this guy don’t bother commenting it’s not gonna do anything can we just work to get this removed please

WHAT.
So, today I was surprised on deviantart to find a cute picture of Rainbow Dash, and Derpy hugging. The artist goes on to explain that she thinks RD and Derpy would be best friends. While this may be a fantasy (as I think RD’s best friend is herself, ha ha), it did get me to thinking: Why is it not okay to have a disabled character on a television show. Before Derpy talked, she would make her appearances, just like Bon Bon, and Lyra - who just like Derpy have had oppurtunties to talk. (Well, Bon Bon has anyways.)
The thing that stung when Derpy first talked, was how mean Rainbow Dash was. My brother, Cole, pointed out that RD is pretty much that way to everyone. And its true. Rainbow Dash is always going to be a brash character. But when I rewatched the new edited clip, I noticed something. RD actually talks gently to Derpy, warning her that they don’t want to do more damage then already done. See, the joke I had interpreted, was not just on Derpy - it was always on RD. The duo did things that had cause and effect - and the more agitated RD became, the more karma bit her in the ass.
The scene itself has lost its power to be funny because I had been so offended at first, but the advantage to that is watching it with a more critical eye.
The comedy itself makes me think of cartoon shorts of Donald and Goofy. Donald, like RD, often gets frustrated and something worse happens to him because of it. And Derpy is just like Goofy, to me. Goofy is slow, and a bit dopey himself. But, like Goofy, I think with more Derpy we could see, that she is HAPPY. Like Goofy, maybe she knows she’s slow, but she’s okay with that.
I think Derpy isn’t loved because we have someone to tease. I think Derpy is loved because she is someone to be celebrated. I think if she becomes somewhat of an cartoon ambassador to disabled children, other children will realize that, hey, that disabled girl sitting beside me in class is just like me. Cartoons don’t always have a negative affect on people, and in fact, for me, they are one of the most positive aspects in my life; especially last year when the new MLP came out.
I hope this makes sense, and I don’t come off as biased. I really was angry and upset about that episodic, that once I saw that scene, I couldn’t finish the rest of the episode until later. The episode itself gives the lesson that even if you fail, the people who love you will always be there by your side. I kind of wish the scene of Derpy didn’t exist; because the only relevance it has to the episode itself is that Town Hall needs repairs now. I really want the next time that she has her own screen time, that the story will be about love and acceptance towards her.
So TL;DR here’s pretty much what it boils down to:
Thanks for reading if you did, and I hope that this doesn’t piss off other fans who disagree with Derpy’s portrayal.
